KeAndre Fair hit seven three pointers and finished with 28 points to lead Weaver to its second straight CCC Boys Basketball Tournament title with an 83-66 win over Windsor in the championship game. Fair hit his first six shots from three point range as the Beavers jumped out to a big early lead and never looked back. Weaver led 26-10 after the first quarter and 56-30 at the half.
Weaver advanced to the final game with a thrilling 77-75 overtime win over Maloney in the semis on a buzzer beating shot by Jaecee Martin. Windsor also needed extra time on its semi final win over Middletown after battling back from an early deficit to force overtime.
In the championship game Martin and Willie James chipped in with 13 points each for Weaver and Andre Lyons added 12. Lyons and James were a significant force inside both offensively and defensively for the Beavers. Tyler Coyle led Windsor wih 18 points. Top seeded Weaver improved to 22-2 while the 14th seeded Warriors fell to 13-11.
