2019 Girls Volleyball Tournament

RHAM Wins 4th Straight CCC Tournament Championship

RHAM swept past previously undefeated Bristol Eastern in three sets to win its fourth straight CCC Volleyball Tournament title and fifth in six years. The Sachems were led by Kate Santella who had 33 assists and two kills, Meredih Blinn who had 17 digs, and Keira Sullivan with 15 digs, six kills and two aces. The win avenged a five set loss to the Lancers earlier in the season.

Bristol Eastern was led by Zoe Lowe who had 17 kills and four aces. Eastern finished the regular season at 22-1 while RHAM was 20-1.

 Tournament Format/Qualifying:

  • Tournament will consist of 16 teams, the top 16 teams with the best CCC record across the conference.
  • Teams will be ranked based on results of the 16 league assigned matches.
  • Ties will be broken by head to head, divisional champions, results against the highest ranked common opponent, set ratio, overall record, CIAC rating.
  • The tournament will follow a traditional 16 team bracket (1 v 16, 2 v 15 etc).
